1. Sonakshi Sinha – Patna, Bihar


Sonakshi Sinha was born in 1987, to actors Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha in Mumbai. Her father Shatrughan Sinha is now a Member of Parliament from BJP.


She is an Indian singer and actress. She is daughter of actors Shatrughan and Poonam. After working as a costume designer in her early career, Sonakshi made her debut in action-drama film Dabangg (2010) which led her to won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut.

2. Neha Sharma – Bhagalpur, Bihar


Neha Sharma is an Indian film actress and model. A native of Bihar, Sharma attended the Mount Carmel School in Bhagalpur and pursued a course in fashion design[2] from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in New Delhi.


Sharma’s first role was in the Telugu film Chirutha, released in 2007. Her first Hindi film was Mohit Suri’s Crook, released in 2010. Sharma made a cameo appearance in Kunal Kohli’s Teri Meri Kahaani. She was highly appreciated in the semi-hit Kyaa Super Kool Hai Hum.

3. Shilpa Shukla – Vaishali, Bihar


Shilpa Shukla is an Indian theatre, television and Bollywood film actor from Bihar. She is known for her roles in the 2007 sports drama Chak De! India and the 2013 neo-noir film B.A. Pass, for which she was awarded the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress.


Shilpa began her career with Maharaj Krishna Raina, the renowned theatre artist. Later on she also worked with Arvind Gaur, the director of the Asmita Theatre Group. Some of her notable plays are ‘Final Solutions and Tara’ by Mahesh Dattani, ‘Antim Diwas’ by Govind Deshpande, ‘Ek Mamooli Aadmi’ by Ashok Lal, ‘Log-Baag’ by Neil Simon and ‘Rakt Kalyan’ by Girish Karnad.

4. Neetu Chandra – Patna, Bihar

Neetu Chandra was born in Patna, Bihar, India. Her mother tongue is Bhojpuri. She was educated at the Notre Dame Academy, Patna and completed her undergraduate education at Delhi’s Indraprastha College. She started modelling and Neetu gives credit of her success to her mother, a native of East Champaran in Bihar.


She has appeared in several advertisements and videos for firms since her graduation. She holds two Dan black belts in Taekwondo and representedIndia in the 1997 World Taekwondo Championships in Hong Kong.


5. Shilpa Singh – Samastipur, Bihar

Shilpa Singh is an Indian dancer, model and Beauty pageant titleholder. She hails from Samastipur district in the Indian state of Bihar. She was the runner-up at I Am She – Miss Universe India 2012. She represented India at the Miss Universe 2012 pageant at Las Vegas and among the top 16.


Singh completed her B. Tech. in Computer Science from Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management & Engineering, NMIMS university of SVKM, Mumbai. She works for Infosys Technologies.


In October 2012, Singh replaced Urvashi Rautela, the original winner of I Am She 2012, who was found to be too young to compete.
