IIT Patna Students developed The Racing Car ‘Jarvis’

“Team Supra IIT Patna“ have manufactured a formula racing vehicle and is all set to take part in SUPRA SAE India 2016 which is going to be organized from 4-9 July at Buddha International Circuit, Greater Noida. Photographs of the vehicle are attached. Just for your information.

SUPRA is the toughest and most awaited competition in the field of Student Formula Racing Cars *SUPRA SAE INDIA*. It is organized by SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) at National level.It is going to be held from 4-9 July at Buddha International Circuit, Greater Noida (Uttar Pradesh). Around 180 teams from all over the country are going to take part in this competition. SAE provides opportunity for students to work in teams to design and build highly engineered vehicles.This year too our team named ”TEAM SUPRA IIT PATNA” is participating.

Apart from IIT Patna , A team from NIT Patna is also going to take part in this competition. In SUPRA SAE India there will be around 180 teams from different parts of the country. Teams will undergo Static events and Technical Inspection. Teams which will be able to clear Technical Inspection will then undergo Dynamic test and if they get qualified then Final race will take place on Buddh International Circuit. Vehicle named “Jarvis” of TEAM SUPRA IIT Patna has also incorporated ultrasonic innovation keeping race in mind. Also for Rider’s safety it has Master Switch which will break all connections incase of emergency or break fail (pedal over travel switch).
